Former President Barack Obama has never been shy when it came to social media and his overall public appearance. So, it comes to no surprise that the American people would get a “somewhat” of an official response from him regarding the recent Charlottesville riot.
Obama Breaks Records with One Single Tweet
Former President Obama tweeted his response concerning the HORRIFIC events that took place during a hate-fueled KKK rally. This rally is where a man drove his car through the crowd of KKK protestors and ended up killing one woman and injuring over a dozen more people.
After this incident, the American people need comfort and reassurance from a leader who seems to be “trusted” around the world. On the 12th, Obama tweeted this message out to the world.
This single tweet from our former President was liked more than 2 million times. There was 3 parts to the text but the message itself was read “loud n clear”. Quoting Nelson Mandela, Obama went on to saying that racial hate and hate in all forms is taught not born with it. Obama came out with a message that installed faith and hope back into us as a people. Good Job, Barack!
